How to get started with GST e-invoicing in Tally, the first step is to register for the IRP and create a Tallystudio user profile. You will be using Tallystudio as the GSP. To register for the IRP, go to the IRP home page and click on the Registration tab. In the Registration tab, enter your GSTIN, CAPTCHA code, and verification code. After that, go to the User Credentials section. In the Create User section, enter your credentials. Then, double-click on Tallystudio (You will be prompted to enter your user credentials.

 

Once you have created an API user, go to the GST configuration screen. Choose the Tallystudio option for e-invoicing. If you want to generate multiple e-invoices, you should choose the Filingpoint option. If you want to generate an e-Way Bill without an e-invoice, you can do so too. Then, click on the e-invoice tab, and you will be given the option to create multiple e-invoices with one API user account.

 

To start e-invoices in Tally, ensure that you have all the required fields for the HSN, Type of Supply, and Address. Then, click the 'GST' button and enter the information you need to get started. Invoice numbers should not contain '0' or '/' (forward slash), but instead use '-' (hyphen). To make the data export process as easy as possible, use the Excel-to-Tally converter.
