Filingpoint Udyam Registration is a free online process that recognises small businesses as MSME. It also allows them to enjoy many benefits like interest subsidy on bank loans, easier approvals for licences and certifications, tax benefits such as exemption from direct taxes and more.
To apply for the Udyam registration, visit the official website of the Ministry of MSME. Click "For new entrepreneurs". Select your Aadhaar number, which our system will use to verify the information you've entered. Then, provide your name (as per the Aadhaar card), the owner's or authorized signatory's details in case of a proprietorship firm; the name and address of the business in case of a partnership or LLP firm; and the NIC code that best matches your business activities if you run a manufacturing or service-based enterprise.
You can add multiple activities in both manufacturing and services under a single Udyam registration, but you cannot register more than one enterprise with the same Aadhaar number. Once you've filled all the required fields, you can submit your application by clicking "validate".
Once your application is processed, a confirmation will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID. After this, you can access all the details and documents of your MSME through the official portal of the Ministry of MSME. In the future, you will not have to worry about renewing your Udyam registration or keeping any other related documents safe and secure. Instead, all the important information will be stored in a centralised database, which is unified with GST and Income Tax identification systems.
